BRIDGETOWN, Barbados,- The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) held the draw for the 2025 CFU Club Shield on Monday. General Secretary Camara David conducted the draw.
The seventh edition of the competition will take place from July 26 to August 3 in the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
The CFU Shield also serves as the qualifier for this year’s Concacaf Caribbean Cup, with the Champions and Runners-Up advancing to the Confederation’s 10-club competition.

COMPETITION FORMAT
The Swiss-format Group Stage runs from July 26 to 29.
The four group winners will advance to the Semifinals on August 1.
The third-place match and the champion match are on August 3.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Established in 2018, the CFU Club Shield has a primary objective of advancing
professional football throughout the Caribbean. Participation is open to semi-
professional and amateur teams holding current championship titles in their respective
domestic leagues. The ultimate finalists advance to the Concacaf Caribbean Cup.
Concacaf transitioned the organization and management of the competition to the CFU in 2024.
Group D contenders Arnett Gardens FC won the last edition.
