Oranjestad,- De Stuurgroep Zorg Sint Eustatius heeft op 28 november samen met AMPC International Health Consultants een contract getekend voor de eerste fase van de ontwikkeling van het nieuwe Integrated Care and Living Centre.
De ondertekening van dit contract markeert een belangrijke mijlpaal in de verbetering van de zorginfrastructuur op het eiland.
De Stuurgroep die dit multifunctionele zorgcentrum realiseert bestaat uit de vier zorgpartners op het eiland: de St. Eustatius Auxiliary Home Foundation, de St. Eustatius Health Care Foundation (SEHCF), het Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport (VWS) en het Departement van Publieke Gezondheid (GGD) van Openbaar Lichaam Sint Eustatius (OLE).
Samenwerking en gedeelde ambitie
De Stuurgroep is trots dat deze mijlpaal is bereikt. “Het nieuwe centrum bundelt hoogwaardige preventieve, medische en geriatrische zorg op één locatie, omdat dit tegemoetkomt aan de specifieke behoeften van de gemeenschap op Sint Eustatius.”
