• Módulo di Entrenamentu Profeshonal Integral (IBT) i Agente Outorisá di Polis (BAVPOL);
• Módulo básiko di téknika profeshonal pa funshonario-C di Duana;
• Módulo di siña i traha basá riba tarea.

Durante e formashon, e aspirantenan ta haña, entre otro, lès den derecho penal i prosedura penal, formulashon di prosèsferbal i aktuashon profeshonal. Tambe nan ta haña entrenamentu pa kontròl di violensia, detenshon i defensa propio, konosementu di arma i habilidat pa tira.

Ademas nan ta siña traha ku legislashon di duana, inkluyendo e Lei di Duana i Accijnswet BES (Douane- en Accijnswet BES) i e Lei di Impuesto BES (Belastingwet BES). TWAALF (12) ASPIRANTEN VOOR DOUANE CARIBISCH NEDERLAND STARTEN MET OPLEIDING TOT C-FUNCTIONARIS

Kralendijk,- Twaalf aspiranten zijn deze maand gestart met hun opleiding tot douaneambtenaar bij Douane Caribisch Nederland. Op 17 maart hebben zij hun eed of belofte afgelegd, waarmee zij officieel zijn begonnen aan de negen maanden durende Taakgerichte C-opleiding tot douaneambtenaar. Met deze nieuwe lichting zet de Douane Caribisch Nederland een belangrijke stap in het verder versterken van het toezicht en de handhaving aan de grenzen van Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba.

Taakgerichte C-opleiding
De Taakgerichte C-opleiding vindt plaats op Bonaire en bestaat uit een combinatie van theorie en praktijk. De opleiding is opgebouwd uit drie onderdelen:

Module Integrale beroepstraining (IBT) en buitengewoon agent van politie (BAVPOL);

• Module basis vaktechniek Douane C-functionaris en
• Module taakgericht leren en werken.

Tijdens de opleiding krijgen de aspiranten onder meer les in strafrecht en strafvordering, het opstellen van processen-verbaal en professioneel optreden. Ook volgen zij trainingen in geweldbeheersing, aanhouding en zelfverdediging, wapenleer en schietvaardigheid.

Daarnaast leren zij werken met douanewetgeving, waaronder de Douane- en Accijnswet BES en de Belastingwet BES, en met bijzondere wetten op het gebied van veiligheid, gezondheid, economie en milieu, zoals de Vuurwapenwet, Geneesmiddelenwet, Opiumwet 1960 BES en CITES-regelgeving.

Verder maken de aspiranten kennis met het inklarings- en aangifteproces, douanetarieven, douanewaarde, vrijstellingen, reizigersbagage en accijns. Ook krijgen zij les in Nederlands en leren zij werken met Asycuda World, het systeem dat de douane gebruikt voor het registreren van alle binnenkomende en uitgaande goederen.

Benoeming
Na het succesvol afronden van de opleiding in december 2026 worden de aspiranten benoemd tot douaniers (C-Functionaris). Vervolgens worden zij ingezet op Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba, waar zij hun kennis en vaardigheden in de praktijk brengen.

TWELVE (12) RECRUITS FOR CUSTOMS CARIBBEAN NETHERLANDS BEGIN TRAINING TO BECOME C-OFFICERS

Kralendijk,- Twelve recruits started their training this month to become Customs officers at Customs Caribbean Netherlands (Douane Caribisch Nederland). On the 17^th of March, they took their oath or affirmation, officially beginning the nine-month, Task-oriented C training program to become customs officers.

With this new group, Customs Caribbean Netherlands is taking an important step in further strengthening supervision and enforcement at the borders of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.

Task-oriented C training program
The Task-oriented C training program takes place on Bonaire and consists of a combination of theory and practice. The program is structured into three components:

• Integrated Professional Skills Training (IBT) and Special Police Officer (BAVPOL) module;
• Basic professional skills module for Customs C officer; and
• Task-oriented learning and working module.

During the training, recruits will receive instruction in criminal law and criminal procedure, drafting official reports, and professional conduct. They also undergo training in the use of force, arrest procedures and self-defense, weapons knowledge, and firearms proficiency.

In addition, they learn to work with customs legislation, including the Customs- and Excise Duty Act BES (Douane- en Accijnswet BES), as well as special laws in the areas of safety, health, economy, and the environment, such as the Firearms Act, Medicines Act, Opium Act 1960 BES, and CITES regulations (Vuurwapenwet, Geneesmiddelenwet, Opiumwet 1960 BES en CITES-regelgeving).

Furthermore, the recruits are introduced to the clearance and declaration process, customs tariffs, customs valuation, exemptions, passenger baggage, and excise duties. They also receive Dutch language instruction and learn to work with ASYCUDA World, the system used by customs to register all incoming and outgoing goods.

Appointment
After successfully completing the training in December 2026, the recruits will be appointed as customs officers (C officers). They will then be deployed on Bonaire, St. Eustatius, and Saba, where they will apply their knowledge and skills in practice.
