SAMEN STERKER: WEEK VAN DE CRISISBEHEERSING EN COMMUNICATIE CURAÇAO 2025

Willemstad,- Afgelopen week stonden crisisbeheersing en crisiscommunicatie centraal tijdens een intensief programma op Curaçao.

Meer dan honderd crisisbeheerders en crisiscommunicatiespecialisten uit alle delen van het Koninkrijk namen deel aan de zesde editie van de Week van de Crisisbeheersing en de tweede editie van de Week van de Crisiscommunicatie.

Naast de landen Nederland, Curaçao, Aruba en Sint Maarten was ook Caribisch Nederland goed vertegenwoordigd door crisiscoördinatoren en communicatiespecialisten van de openbare lichamen van Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba, evenals communicatiespecialisten van de communicatieafdeling van de Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland.

De bijeenkomst bood een waardevol platform om onderlinge banden te versterken, kennis en ervaringen uit te wisselen en te leren van elkaars werkwijzen. Ook spraken de deelnemers de ambitie uit om de samenwerking verder te intensiveren, zodat zij in de toekomst nog effectiever kunnen optreden bij incidenten, rampen en crises.

STRONGER TOGETHER: CRISIS MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION WEEK CURAÇAO 2025

Last week, crisis management and crisis communication were the main focus during an intensive program on Curaçao.

More than one hundred crisis managers and crisis communication specialists from across the Kingdom took part in the sixth Crisis Management Week and the second Crisis Communication Week.

Besides the participants from the European Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba and St. Maarten, the Caribbean Netherlands was also well represented.

Crisis coordinators and communication specialists from the public entities of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba joined, together with communication staff from the Communication Department of the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland.

The conference provided an important platform to strengthen cooperation, share knowledge and experiences, and learn from each other’s way of working. Participants also expressed their wish to work even more closely together in the future, so they can respond even better during incidents, disasters and crises
