BONAIRE PRESENTEERT ZICH OP DE NEW YORK TRAVEL & ADVENTURE SHOW
Kralendijk,- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) heeft samen met twee lokale partners het toeristische aanbod van het eiland gepromoot op de New York Travel & Adventure Show op 24 en 25 januari 2026.
Tijdens het tweedaagse evenement hebben de stands van Bonaire veel belangstelling getrokken van reizigers, mediavertegenwoordigers, reisadviseurs en professionals uit de sector. TCB werd vergezeld door Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino en Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire om het eiland te vertegenwoordigen.
De samenwerking benadrukte de natuurlijke schoonheid van Bonaire en positioneerde het eiland als een veelzijdige bestemming die meer te bieden heeft dan alleen duiken van wereldklasse.
De bezoekers van de beurs konden kennis maken met het brede aanbod van ervaringen dat Bonaire te bieden heeft, waaronder eco-avonturen, culturele en historische bezienswaardigheden en een groeiende culinaire scene.
Het evenement diende ook als platform om de relaties te verstevigen met reisadviseurs en touroperators, die geïnteresseerd zijn in het uitbreiden van hun productaanbod door Bonaire toe te voegen.
“De New York Travel & Adventure Show is een belangrijk platform voor ons om rechtstreeks in contact te komen met reizigers en handelspartners in een van onze belangrijkste markten. Door Bonaire samen met onze lokale partners te presenteren, kunnen we een completer beeld van het eiland schetsen. Een beeld dat verder gaat dan alleen duiken en dat ook onze cultuur, natuur en vele andere ervaringen belicht”, aldus Elesiër Angel, directeur van Tourism Corporation Bonaire.
Vooruitkijkend zullen TCB en haar lokale partners deelnemen aan de Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show van 20 tot en met 22 februari 2026, om de route Toronto-Bonaire van WestJet te ondersteunen met als doel de aanwezigheid en bekendheid van Bonaire op de Canadese markt verder te vergroten.

During the two-day event, Bonaire’s booths drew strong interest from travelers, media representatives, travel advisors, and industry professionals. TCB was joined by Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino and Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire to represent the island. The collaboration highlighted Bonaire’s natural beauty and positioned the island as a diverse destination that offers more than world-class diving.
Show attendees learned about the wide range of experiences available on Bonaire, including eco-adventures, cultural and historic attractions, and a growing culinary scene. The event also served as a platform to strengthen relationships with travel advisors and tour operators interested in expanding Bonaire within their product offerings.

Looking ahead, TCB and its on-island partners will participate in the Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show from February 20–22, 2025, supporting WestJet’s Toronto–Bonaire route and aiming to further grow Bonaire’s presence and visibility in the Canadian market.
