Kralendijk, djasabra 8 di mart 2025 – Art Culture Education Foundation a logra un gran éksito ku e presentashon di ‘The Melody of Me’, un presentashon musikal kreá i produsí kompletamente durante e fakansi di karnaval.

Un grupo di 12 hóben a inskribí pa e proyekto i a eksperensiá un siman intensivo, kreativo i edukativo. Bou di guia di nan coaches, Zoë Bernardina i Xechel Jacobs, nan a logra krea un presentashon teatral musikal di 30 minüt, ku a sorprendé i konmové e públiko.

Mas o ménos 50 persona a asistí na e presentashon na Creative World, i e reakshonnan tabata sumamente positivo. E públiko tabata entusiasmá i yen di elogio pa e nivel haltu di e presentashon.

E storia di ‘The Melody of Me’ ta trata di dos hóben ku ta soña ku un melodia i un kansion, pero niun di nan por korda e tònonan presis. Nan ta bai buska i finalmente ta deskubrí ku nan tanta ta kanta un kansion ku ta parse hopi riba loke nan a tende den nan soño. E momento aki di rekognishon ta inspirá nan pa komponé nan mes kansion i realisá nan soño.

E show a inkluí tur aspekto di teatro: baile, kanto, aktuashon i kreatividad, i e hóbennan mes a diseñá nan kostümnan i e dekorashon.

Den solamente sinku dia i tres ora pa dia, nan a logra presentá un presentashon kompleto, reflehando nan dedikashon, disiplina i talento.

Nos ke ekspresá un danki grandi na MDT OLB i e Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied pa nan apoyo, i tambe na tur e hóbennan i coaches ku a kontribuí na e éksito di ‘The Melody of Me’.

DE MUZIKALE VOORSTELLING ‘THE MELODY OF ME’ GEPRESENTEERD DOOR ACE FOUNDATION, CULTUURFONDS CARIBISCH GEBIED EN MDT OVERTREFT ALLE VERWACHTINGEN

Kralendijk, zaterdag 8 maart 2025 – Art Culture Education Foundation heeft groot succes behaald met de presentatie van ‘The Melody of Me’, een muzikale voorstelling die volledig is gecreëerd en geproduceerd tijdens de carnavalsvakantie.

Een groep van 12 jongeren schreef zich in voor het project en beleefde een intensieve, creatieve en educatieve week. Onder leiding van hun coaches, Zoë Bernardina en Xechel Jacobs, slaagden zij erin een muzikale theatervoorstelling van 30 minuten te maken, die het publiek aangenaam verraste en ontroerde.

Ongeveer 50 mensen woonden de voorstelling bij in Creative World, en de reacties waren overweldigend positief. Het publiek was enthousiast en vol lof over het hoge niveau van de presentatie.

Het verhaal van ‘The Melody of Me’ gaat over twee jongeren die dromen over een melodie en een liedje, maar zich geen van beiden de precieze tonen kunnen herinneren.

Ze gaan op zoek en ontdekken uiteindelijk dat hun tante een liedje zingt dat sterk lijkt op wat zij in hun droom hebben gehoord. Dit moment van herkenning inspireert hen om hun eigen lied te componeren en hun droom werkelijkheid te laten worden.

De show omvatte alle aspecten van theater: dans, zang, acteren en creativiteit, en de jongeren ontwierpen zelf hun kostuums en het decor.

In slechts vijf dagen en drie uur per dag wisten ze een complete voorstelling neer te zetten, wat hun toewijding, discipline en talent weerspiegelde. Wij willen een grote dank uitspreken aan MDT OLB en het Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied voor hun steun, en ook aan alle jongeren en coaches die hebben bijgedragen aan het succes van ‘The Melody of Me’.

Dit project bewijst opnieuw de kracht van kunst en cultuur in de ontwikkeling van onze jongeren.

THE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE ‘THE MELODY OF ME’ PRESENTED BY ACE FOUNDATION, CULTURAL FUND CARIBBEAN REGION AND MDT EXCEEDS ALL EXPECTATIONS

Kralendijk, Saturday March 8, 2025 – Art Culture Education Foundation has achieved great success with the presentation of ‘The Melody of Me’, a musical performance that was completely created and produced during the carnival vacation.

A group of 12 young people enrolled in the project and experienced an intensive, creative and educational week. Under the guidance of their coaches, Zoë Bernardina and Xechel Jacobs, they managed to create a 30-minute musical theater performance that pleasantly surprised and moved the audience.

Approximately 50 people attended the performance at Creative World, and the reactions were overwhelmingly positive. The audience was enthusiastic and full of praise for the high level of the presentation.

The story of ‘The Melody of Me’ is about two young people who dream about a melody and a song, but neither can remember the exact notes. They go searching and eventually discover that their aunt sings a song that strongly resembles what they heard in their dream. This moment of recognition inspires them to compose their own song and make their dream a reality.

The show included all aspects of theater: dance, singing, acting and creativity, and the young people designed their own costumes and the set. In just five days and three hours per day, they managed to create a complete performance, reflecting their dedication, discipline and talent.

We would like to express our great appreciation to MDT OLB and the Cultural Fund Caribbean Region for their support, and also to all the young people and coaches who contributed to the success of ‘The Melody of Me’.

This project once again proves the power of art and culture in the development of our young people.
