Nos ke mustra nos gratitut na tur ku a kana, kore baiskel, boluntario i spònser ku a yuda pa e evento inolvidabel aki bira un realidad. For di e 1200 karchinan ta ku a wòrdu imprimi, mas o menos 900 a wòrdu bende.

Un kantidat di karchinan ku a wòrdu kumpra solamente pa duna sosten, sin partisipashon – pa esey tambe, un danki di kurason. Den total, aproksimadamente 500 deportista entusiasta a tuma parti den e Walk-A-Thon, na pia, kore of riba baiskel – un esfuerso bunito huntu.

BEDANKT VOOR UW BIJDRAGE AAN DE 22STE EDITIE VAN DE WALK-A-THON!

Kralendijk,- Namens de directie en het hele team van Special Olympics Bonaire (SOB) willen wij iedereen die heeft bijgedragen aan het grote succes van de 22ste editie van de Walk-A-Thon op 4 mei jl. van harte bedanken.

Dank aan alle wandelaars, fietsers, vrijwilligers, sponsors en donateurs die dit onvergetelijke evenement mogelijk hebben gemaakt.

Van de 1200 kaarten die gedrukt zijn, zijn er ongeveer 900 verkocht. Een deel werd gekocht als steun, zonder deelname – ook daarvoor onze oprechte dank. Ongeveer 500 sportieve en enthousiaste deelnemers deden mee aan de Walk-A-Thon, wandelend, hardlopend of fietsend – een mooie gezamenlijke inspanning.

De opbrengsten van deze Walk-A-Thon worden gebruikt voor de voorbereidingen van onze atleten voor de Special Olympics Kingdom Games in Curaçao, waar Bonaire trots vertegenwoordigd zal worden.

Uw bijdrage – groot of klein – maakt echt een verschil in het leven van onze atleten. Dankzij uw betrokkenheid krijgen zij de kans zich verder te ontwikkelen, grenzen te verleggen en deel te nemen aan sport op (inter)nationaal niveau.

On behalf of the board and the entire team of Special Olympics Bonaire (SOB), we would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the great success of the 22nd edition of the Walk-A-Thon held on May 4th.

Thanks to all the walkers, runners, cyclists, volunteers, sponsors, and donors who made this unforgettable event possible. Of the 1200 printed tickets, approximately 900 were sold. Some were purchased as a show of support without participation – for that too, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Around 500 sporty and enthusiastic participants took part in the Walk-A-Thon — walking, running, or cycling — a wonderful collective effort.

The proceeds from this Walk-A-Thon will be used to prepare our athletes for the Special Olympics Kingdom Games in Curaçao, where Bonaire will proudly be represented.

Your contribution — big or small — truly makes a difference in the lives of our athletes. Thanks to your support, they have the opportunity to develop further, push boundaries, and participate in sports at both national and international levels.
