NEW SUNFISH FLEET ARRIVES FOR BSSA

Kralendijk,- BSSA, the Bonaire Sunfish Sailing Association, also known as the Bonaire Sailing Club, is pleased to announce the arrival of its new Sunfish fleet.

As the club continues to grow and welcome new members of all ages, this expansion comes at an important time.

Why This Matters

• Advanced sailors will have access to high-quality boats for training and competition.

• Students and newly certified sailors will have more opportunities to build experience and develop their skills.

• The larger fleet will help the club support its growing membership more effectively. Interest in Sunfish sailing is rising strongly, especially among junior sailors.

This momentum is expected to inspire a new generation of young Bonaire sailors to take part in club races and international regattas, including the BonSailing Regatta on June 12–14 here on Bonaire. Ceremony and Invitation

The new fleet of 11 Sunfishes will be officially baptized during a club ceremony led by Yellowman Ramon Martis, Bonaire’s most renowned Sunfish world sailor.

The event will take place at Kas di Regatta on Sunday, May 31, at 4:00 PM. All sailing enthusiasts are warmly invited to attend and celebrate this exciting milestone with the club.
