Kralendijk,- Op 5 maart heeft Bonaire het luxe cruiseschip The World verwelkomd, dat tot 7 maart in onze haven bleef.

MS The World is een privé, luxueus wooncruiseschip dat functioneert als een appartementencomplex.

Bewoners uit verschillende landen bezitten ruime appartementen aan boord. Deze bewoners beslissen van tevoren waar ter wereld ze naartoe willen en Bonaire is meer dan eens een gekozen bestemming geweest. De totale capaciteit is tussen de 150 en 200 bewoners, met een bemanning van 280 zeelieden, terwijl het schip 12 dekken heeft.

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) heeft de hospitality desk aan boord beheerd, waar de bewoners advies konden inwinnen over activiteiten op het eiland, reserveringen voor diners konden maken, huurauto’s konden boeken en andere ervaringen konden regelen.

The World heeft Bonaire al eerder bezocht en TCB hoopt dat de ervaring die ze met ons eiland hadden, toekomstige bezoeken zal aanmoedigen.

Door ons product voortdurend te verbeteren, kunnen we meer bezoeken van dit schip en andere soortgelijke schepen garanderen.

BONAIRE WELCOMES THE WORLD LUXURY CRUISE SHIP

Kralendijk,- On March 5, Bonaire welcomed The World luxury cruise ship, which remained in port until March 7.

MS The World is a private, lavish residential cruise ship operating like a condominium complex. Residents from various countries own spacious apartments on board.

These residents decide in advance where in the world they would like to go and Bonaire has been a destination chosen more than once. The total capacity is between 150 and 200 residents, with a crew of 280, while the ship has 12 decks.

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) operated the hospitality desk onboard, where the residents could seek advice on island activities, make dinner reservations, book car rentals, and arrange other experiences.

The World previously visited Bonaire, and TCB hopes the island’s experience will encourage future visits.
