Melissa van Hoorn, direktor di STINAPA a hasi un yamada na tur persona, organisashon i instansia pa yuda kuida naturalesa. Ta solamente si nos traha huntu ku otro por salbaguardiá naturalesa di Boneiru pa futuro habitante i bishitante, asina Van Hoorn a bisa. E lema di e organisashon ta: Naturalesa. Kuid’é p’ e no disparsé.

Un danki grandi ta bai na FMK, Tone & Texture, poeta Ovier Maduro, Akademia di Papiamentu pa nan presentashon durante DANKI. STINAPA ta yama danki tambe na FUHIKUBO pa un bunita eksposishon chikitu den museo di obra na papiamentu. Danki na tur organisashon di naturalesa ku a partisipá: Caribbean Islands Manta Conservation Program, Mangrove Maniacs, Reef Renewal, Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire, Tera Barra i WWF-NL.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU FROM STINAPA TO ALL VISITORS OF DANKI

Kralendijk – STINAPA would like to thank all visitors who visited Washington Park to celebrate the organization’s 40th anniversary. On Sunday May 31st, the nature organization held an event called DANKI. DANKI stands for ‘Dia pa Apresiá Naturalesa, Kultura i Idioma’ (Day to Appreciate Nature, Culture, and Language). Melissa van Hoorn, director of STINAPA made a call to all individuals, organizations and agencies to help take care of our nature. Only by working together we can safeguard Bonaire’s nature for future inhabitants and visitors, Van Hoorn said. The motto of the organization is: Nature. Take care of it so it doesn’t disappear.

A big thank you goes to FMK, Tone & Texture, poet Ovier Maduro,and Akademia di Papiamentu for their presentation during DANKI. STINAPA also thanks FUHIKUBO for a beautiful small exhibition, in the museum, of works in Papiamento.
