VIER BEZOEKERS GEHULDIGD MET EEN GOUDEN SPELD ALS AMBASSADEURS VAN BONAIRE

Kralendijk,- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) heeft vier bezoekers afkomstig uit de Verenigde Staten als ambassadeurs van Bonaire erkend in de gouden categorie.

Het gaat om gasten die Bonaire op reguliere basis bezoeken, zeker twee à drie keer per jaar. Zij zijn ‘repeat ambassadors’, oftewel terugkerende ambassadeurs.

Twee van deze ambassadeurs van de maand mei 2026 zijn Mike Smith en Peggy Mongrue. “Elke keer als wij een vakantiebestemming willen kiezen, valt de keuze elke keer weer op ‘dushi Boneiru’. Dit vanwege de schoonheid van het eiland, de bewoners en vooral ook alle duikplekken die dit eiland te bieden heeft,” aldus het echtpaar.

De andere twee ambassadeurs zijn Ed Finck en Donna Donlin die Bonaire ook regelmatig bezoeken. “Ook dit jaar hadden wij geen enkele reden om Bonaire niet te bezoeken. Dit eiland heeft elke keer opnieuw onze voorkeur. Wij zij verrukt van de vriendelijke mensen die hier wonen, en niet te vergeten de onderwaterwereld. Bonaire is uitzonderlijk!,” zo heeft dit koppel benadrukt.

Zowel Mike, Peggy, Ed en Donna bezoeken Bonaire al twintig jaar. Alle vier de ambassadeurs hebben hun gouden speld en certificaat uit handen van Helen Mercera ontvangen.

FOUR VISITORS HONORED WITH A GOLD PIN AS BONAIRE AMBASSADORS

Kralendijk,- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) has recognized four visitors from the United States as Bonaire Ambassadors in the gold category.

These are guests who visit Bonaire regularly, at least two or three times a year. They are “repeat ambassadors.”

Two of these ambassadors for the month of May 2026 are Mike Smith and Peggy Mongrue. “Every time we want to choose a vacation destination, we pick ‘dushi Boneiru’ (lovely Bonaire) again and again. This is due to the island’s beauty, its residents, and above all, the diving sites the island has to offer,” the couple stated.

The other two ambassadors are Ed Finck and Donna Donlin, who also visit Bonaire regularly. “We had no reason not to visit Bonaire this year, either. This island is our top choice every time. We are delighted by the friendly people who live here, not to mention the underwater world. Bonaire is exceptional!” the couple emphasized.

Mike, Peggy, Ed, and Donna have all been visiting Bonaire for twenty years. All four ambassadors received their gold pins and certificates from Helen Mercera.
