LAATSTE TWEE WEKEN: DOE MEE AAN DE OMNIBUSENQUÊTE IN CARIBISCH NEDERLAND

De veldwerkperiode van de Omnibusenquête in Caribisch Nederland is verlengd. Inwoners van Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba die hiervoor zijn geselecteerd, kunnen nog tot en met 28 februari, 2026 deelnemen. Het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) roept hen op om in deze laatste twee weken alsnog mee te doen.

 

De Omnibusenquête is een grootschalig onderzoek naar de leefomstandigheden in Caribisch Nederland. Het CBS verzamelt informatie over onder meer gezondheid, huisvesting en veiligheid. Met deze gegevens wordt inzicht verkregen in hoe het écht gaat met inwoners van de eilanden.

 

Betrouwbare cijfers zijn essentieel. Ze vormen de basis voor beleid, onderzoek en maatschappelijke initiatieven. Hoe meer geselecteerde inwoners deelnemen, hoe beter en representatiever het beeld van Caribisch Nederland wordt.

In totaal zijn 2.029 inwoners op Bonaire, 674 op Sint Eustatius en 578 op Saba willekeurig geselecteerd om mee te doen. Alleen zij kunnen deelnemen aan dit onderzoek. Daarom is hun medewerking van groot belang.

 

De vertrouwelijkheid van de gegevens is wettelijk gegarandeerd. Het CBS gaat zorgvuldig om met alle verstrekte informatie. Interviewers kunnen zich altijd legitimeren met een officiële CBS-pas.

FINAL TWO WEEKS: TAKE PART IN THE OMNIBUS SURVEY IN THE CARIBBEAN NETHERLANDS

The data collection period for the Omnibus Survey in the Caribbean Netherlands has been extended. Residents of Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba who have been selected can participate until 1^st of March, 2026.

Statistics Netherlands (CBS) encourages them to take part during these final two weeks.

The Omnibus Survey is a large-scale study on living conditions in the Caribbean Netherlands. CBS collects information on topics such as health, housing and safety. These data provide insight into how residents of the islands are really doing.

Reliable statistics are essential. They form the foundation for policymaking, research and social initiatives. The more selected residents who participate, the more complete and representative the picture of the Caribbean Netherlands will be.

A total of 2,029 residents in Bonaire, 674 in St Eustatius and 578 in Saba have been randomly selected to take part. Only those selected can participate in this survey. Their cooperation is therefore of great importance.

The confidentiality of all collected data is guaranteed by law. CBS handles all information with strict care and protection. Interviewers can always identify themselves with an official CBS identification card.
