PILOTPROJECT VOOR THEATERLERARENOPLEIDING IN BONAIRE

Kralendijk – Aanstaande maandag start de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunst een pilotproject om een opleiding voor theaterdocenten in Bonaire te onderzoeken. Vanaf maandag

20 oktober kunnen alle geïnteresseerden deelnemen aan een 5-daagse proefles om een idee te krijgen van de inhoud van de opleiding.

Tijdens deze week zullen twee theaterdocenten aanwezig zijn: Yahmani Blackman van de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunst en Richailine Elisa, die geen onbekende is in Bonaire en Curaçao, van de prestigieuze Elisa Academy die jongeren voorbereidt om in Nederland te gaan studeren op het gebied van theater.

Dus een uitnodiging aan alle docenten, pedagogische medewerkers, leiders van organisaties die met kinderen en jongeren werken, of simpelweg als je geïnteresseerd bent om theaterdocent te worden en misschien je eigen theaterbeweging in Bonaire op te starten? In Bonaire is er op dit moment behoefte aan professionals op het gebied van artistieke educatie. Om te voorkomen dat er docenten van buiten gebruikt moeten worden, heeft ACE Foundation samen met Aruba, in de persoon van Emy Lasten, contact opgenomen met de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunst om de mogelijkheid te creëren om onze eigen mensen op te leiden en te certificeren, zodat ze kunst kunnen geven in bijvoorbeeld scholen.

Het idee is om met een kortdurende opleiding te komen waarin je in twee jaar je certificering kunt behalen om les te kunnen geven op school. Met dit initiatief creëert Bonaire niet alleen zijn eigen theaterdocenten, maar opent het ook de mogelijkheid voor Bonaire om meer acteurs en actrices voort te brengen, en dit brengt meer beweging in de theaterwereld van Bonaire.
