Kralendijk,- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB), in samenwerking met de Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), roept alle leerlingen en scholen op Bonaire op om hun inzendingen voor de FCCA Essay & Poster Competition van 2025 in te sturen.
Dit is een unieke kans voor leerlingen om internationale erkenning te krijgen, hun creativiteit te uiten en Bonaire te vertegenwoordigen onder leeftijdsgenoten uit de hele regio.
Deelnemers nemen het op tegen leerlingen uit het Caribisch gebied, Mexico, Midden-Amerika en Zuid-Amerika, waardoor dit een echt internationaal evenement is en een platform biedt om het beste van het talent en de ideeën van Bonaire te laten zien.
Wedstrijdcategorieën
Leerlingen kunnen inzendingen indienen in een van de volgende vier categorieën:
- Categorie essay en categorie poster voor de Junior Division (12 jaar en jonger)
- Categorie essay en categorie poster voor de Senior Division (13 tot 16 jaar)
Wedstrijdthema’s
Thema essay:
“Als ik een cruisepassagier was, wat zou ik dan graag op mijn eiland willen zien of doen?”
Thema poster:
“Hoe het mariene milieu te beschermen tegen activiteiten op het land”
De uiterste inzenddatum is 22 oktober 2025. Alle voltooide inzendingen en officiële formulieren moeten vóór deze datum bij TCB worden ingediend.
Taalvereiste: Alle inzendingen moeten in het Engels worden ingediend.
De winnaars kunnen rekenen op fantastische prijzen:
Junior Division (12 jaar en jonger) en Senior Division (13-16 jaar) elk:
- 1e plaats: Laptop + $ 3.000
- 2e plaats: Touchscreen-apparaat + $ 1.500
- 3e plaats: Smartphone + $ 1.000
Winnaars worden bekendgemaakt op 10 december 2025
De winnende inzendingen worden gehuldigd tijdens de prestigieuze internationale conferentie Seatrade 2026, waar prijzen worden uitgereikt aan vertegenwoordigers van de winnende bestemmingen.

Kralendijk,- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB), in collaboration with the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), is reminding all students and schools across Bonaire to submit their entries for the 2025 FCCA Essay & Poster Competitions.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to gain international recognition, express their creativity, and represent Bonaire among peers from across the region.
Participants will be competing against students from throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and South America, making this a truly international event and a platform to showcase the best of Bonaire’s talent and ideas.
Competition Categories
Students can submit entries in any of the following four categories:
- Junior Division (Ages 12 & under) Essay and Poster Competition
- Senior Division (Ages 13–16) Essay and Poster Competition
Competition Themes
Essay Theme:
“If I were a cruise passenger, what would I like to see or do in my country?”
Poster Theme:
“How to Protect the Marine Environment from Land-Based Activities”
Submission deadline is October 22nd, 2025. All completed entries and official forms must be submitted to TCB by this date.
Language Requirement: All entries must be submitted in English.
Incredible Prizes Await Winners:
Junior Division (ages 12 & under) & Senior Division (ages 13–16) each:
