Kralendijk.- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) heeft voorlopige toerismegegevens gedeeld voor juli 2025. Hieruit blijkt dat Bonaire 16.653 verblijfsbezoekers heeft ontvangen. Dit is een stijging van 16,3% ten opzichte van juli 2024, toen er 14.320 bezoekers arriveerden.

Bezoekers uit Nederland vormden de grootste groep, goed voor 46,3% van het totale aantal bezoekers, met 7.710 bezoekers. Bezoekers uit de Verenigde Staten waren de op één na grootste groep, goed voor 27,4% van het totale aantal bezoekers, met 4.565 bezoekers.

In totaal hebben 2131 (12,8%) bezoekers uit Curaçao ons eiland bezocht, gevolgd door België met 362 (2,2%) bezoekers, Aruba met 278 (1,7%) bezoekers, Zwitserland met 196 (1,2%) bezoekers, Duitsland met 174 (1%) bezoekers, Canada met 163 (1%) bezoekers, Colombia met 149 (0,9%) bezoekers, Brazilië met 119 (0,7%) bezoekers en het Verenigd Koninkrijk met 76 (0,5%) bezoekers.

De meeste bezoekers uit de Verenigde Staten reisden alleen, gevolgd door de bezoekers die met een partner reisden. De meesten kwamen voor vakantie (50,2%) en duiken (35,4%). De meerderheid verbleef in een hotel (52%), een villa (12,4%), een eigen woning (7,2%), een appartement (6,5%) of bij een familielid (4,3%).

De Amerikaanse bezoekers kwamen voornamelijk uit New York, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania en California. Uit de leeftijdsverdeling bleek dat reizigers van 45 tot 54 jaar 20,2% van de bezoekers vertegenwoordigden, terwijl de reizigers van 55 tot 64 jaar 18,6% van het totaal uitmaakten.

De meeste Nederlandse bezoekers reisden met kinderen, gevolgd door degenen die alleen reisden.

Visitors from the Netherlands formed the largest group, accounting for 46.3% of total arrivals, with 7,710 visitors. U.S. visitors were the second-largest group, making up 27.4% of arrivals with 4,565 visitors.

A total of 2,131 (12.8%) visitors from Curaçao visited the island, followed by Belgium with 362 (2.2%) visitors, Aruba with 278 (1.7%) visitors, Switzerland with 196 (1.2%) visitors, Germany with 174 (1%) visitors, Canada with 163 (1%) visitors, Colombia with 149 (0.9%) visitors, Brazil with 119 (0.7%) visitors, and UK with 76 (0.5%) visitors.

The age distribution revealed that travelers aged 45-54 represented 20.2% of the visitors, while those aged 55-64 comprised 18.6%.

Most Dutch visitors traveled with their children, followed by those who traveled alone. Most visitors came for vacation (75%) and to visit friends and family (8%). Most visitors stayed at a hotel (44%), followed by an apartment (14.8%), at a relative (10.9%), a villa (9.1%), and their own property (6%). Most Dutch visitors came from North Holland, South Holland, North Brabant, Gelderland, and Utrecht, with the 45-54 age group (20.6%) and the 18-24 age group (16.6%) being the largest segments.
