BONAIRE VIERT DE WEEK VAN DE KINDERLIEDJES 2025 MET HET THEMA ‘DROOM’

Kralendijk,- Van 18 mei tot en met 28 mei 2025 viert Bonaire met trots de vierde editie van de Week van de Kinderliedjes, met als thema: “Droom”.

Deze feestelijke periode legt de nadruk op het belang van positieve muziek voor de ontwikkeling en groei van kinderen.

Campagne: “Kinderen moeten kinderliedjes horen”

In samenwerking met de Week van de Kinderliedjes lanceert ACE Foundation de bewustwordingscampagne: “Kinderen moeten kinderliedjes horen”. Deze campagne is een oproep aan ouders en opvoeders om kinderen de kans te geven naar muziek te luisteren die geschikt is voor hun leeftijd. Muziek die normen en waarden stimuleert, hun persoonlijke ontwikkeling positief beïnvloedt, en hun dromen voedt.

Belangrijke data:

• 7 mei: Lancering van het lied “Kanta Positivo” – een nummer gecomponeerd door Xechel “BAUCO” Jacobs en geproduceerd door ACE Foundation.
• 12 mei: Publicatie van het liedjespakket voor de Week van de Kinderliedjes, inclusief het themalied “Droom”, met bijbehorende videoclip op het YouTube-kanaal van ACE Foundation.
• 18 mei: Officiële opening van de Week van de Kinderliedjes met de première van de muzikale theatervoorstelling “Mi Melodia” en de videoclip.
• 24 mei: Viering van het eerste lustrum van ACE Foundation met een optreden van de Jacobs Family en ACE Tweens.
• 28 mei: Sluitingsceremonie met een muzikale parade en optredens van talenten van verschillende scholen en/of opvangcentra.

Openingsavond – 18 mei

De officiële opening vindt plaats op zondag 18 mei om 18:00 uur bij Creative World. Dit evenement is toegankelijk voor een beperkt publiek, maar zal wereldwijd via livestream te volgen zijn. Tijdens de opening zal ACE Foundation de muzikale theatervoorstelling “Mi Melodia” in première brengen.

Slotfeest – 28 mei

De Week van de Kinderliedjes wordt afgesloten met een feestelijke parade waarin kinderen van scholen en opvanginstellingen meelopen. Daarnaast zullen er muzikale optredens zijn van verschillende scholen.

This festive period emphasizes the importance of positive music for children’s development and growth.

Campaign: “Children should hear children’s songs”

In collaboration with Children’s Songs Week, ACE Foundation launches the awareness campaign: “Children should hear children’s songs”. This campaign is a call to parents and educators to give children the opportunity to listen to age-appropriate music. Music that promotes values and norms, positively influences their personal development, and nurtures their dreams.

Important dates:

• May 7: Launch of the song “Kanta Positivo” – a track composed by Xechel “BAUCO” Jacobs and produced by ACE Foundation.
• May 12: Publication of the song package for Children’s Songs Week, including the theme song “Dream”, with accompanying music video on ACE Foundation’s YouTube channel.
• May 18: Official opening of Children’s Songs Week with the premiere of the musical theater performance “Mi Melodia” and the music video.
• May 24: Celebration of ACE Foundation’s first lustrum with a performance by the Jacobs Family and ACE Tweens.
• May 28: Closing ceremony with a musical parade and performances by talents from various schools and/or care centers.

Opening night – May 18

The official opening takes place on Sunday, May 18 at 6:00 PM at Creative World. This event is accessible to a limited audience but will be available worldwide via livestream. During the opening, ACE Foundation will premiere the musical theater performance “Mi Melodia”.

Closing celebration – May 28

Children’s Songs Week concludes with a festive parade featuring children from schools and care institutions. Additionally, there will be musical performances by various schools.
