Kralendijk,- Op donderdag 3 oktober 2024 vertrekt het team van Special Olympics Bonaire (SOB), bestaande uit 8 atleten en 2 coaches, naar Paraguay voor deelname aan de prestigieuze IV Juegos Latinoamericanos Olympiadas Especiales Asuncion 2024.

Deze bijzondere sportcompetitie vindt plaats van 4 tot en met 12 oktober 2024.

Wedstrijden: De Bonaireaanse atleten zullen strijden in de categorieën atletiek en bolas.

De deelnemende atleten zijn als volgt:

• Bolas: Su-Endry Weef, Marchantelie Anthony, Heaven-Lee de Jongh (unified), Denzyl Statie (unified)

• Atletiek: Michele Matthew, Shalimar Matthew, Roel Scherptong, Lixzandro Mauricio De atleten hebben zich intensief voorbereid onder begeleiding van hun coaches, zodat ze op hun best kunnen presteren tijdens de wedstrijden. Dankbetuiging:

SPECIAL OLYMPICS BONAIRE ATHLETES HEAD TO PARAGUAY FOR THE IV JUEGOS LATINOAMERICANOS OLYMPIADAS ESPECIALES ASUNCION 2024

Kralendijk,- On Thursday, October 3, 2024, Special Olympics Bonaire (SOB) will depart with a group of 8 athletes and 2 coaches to Paraguay to participate in the prestigious IV Juegos Latinoamericanos Olympiadas Especiales Asuncion 2024.

The competitions will take place from October 4 to October 12, 2024.

Competitions: The Bonairean team will compete in athletics and bolas. The participating athletes are:

• Bolas: Su-Endry Weef, Marchantelie Anthony, Heaven-Lee de Jongh (unified), Denzyl Statie (unified)

• Athletics: Michele Matthew, Shalimar Matthew, Roel Scherptong, Lixzandro Mauricio The dedicated athletes have trained with their coaches to ensure they perform at their best during the competitions.
