KRALENDIJK – Vanaf maandag 10 maart zet Fundashon Tienda pa Konsumido Boneriano (FTPKB) een belangrijke stap in het verbeteren van haar dienstverlening aan de Bonairiaanse consument.
In samenwerking met de afdeling Toezicht en Handhaving zal de stichting voortaan samen op pad gaan om haar werkzaamheden uitvoeren in het belang van de Boneriaanse gemeenschap. Dit vernieuwde initiatief biedt niet alleen voordelen voor de organisatie zelf, maar vooral voor de consumenten van Bonaire.
Een van de uitdagingen waar FTPKB in het verleden mee te maken had, was het weigeren van toegang tot ondernemingen om prijsvergelijkingen uit te voeren. Dankzij de samenwerking met Toezicht en Handhaving behoort dit probleem nu tot het verleden.
Het gezamenlijke team zal meerdere supermarkten en minimarkten bezoeken om prijzen te registreren en te vergelijken. Dit betekent dat consumenten voortaan kunnen rekenen op een meer uitgebreide en betrouwbare prijsvergelijking, wat hen helpt om beter geïnformeerde keuzes te maken bij hun aankopen.
Naast de reguliere prijsregistratie introduceert FTPKB een innovatieve aanpak: een pilot met een digitaal prijsvergelijkingsinstrument. Dit systeem, dat zich momenteel in de eerste ontwikkelingsfase bevindt, wordt naast de handmatige prijsregistratie ingezet. Het doel van deze pilot is om digitale technologie in te zetten voor een efficiënter en nauwkeuriger prijsvergelijkingsproces.

KRALENDIJK – A partir del lunes 10 de marzo, Fundashon Tienda pa Konsumidó Boneriano (FTPKB) da un paso importante en la mejora de sus servicios al consumidor bonairense.
En colaboración con el departamento de Supervisión y Control, la fundación realizará conjuntamente sus actividades en beneficio de la comunidad de Bonaire. Esta iniciativa renovada no solo beneficia a la organización misma, sino principalmente a los consumidores de Bonaire.
Uno de los desafíos que FTPKB enfrentaba en el pasado era la negación de acceso a los negocios para realizar comparaciones de precios. Gracias a la colaboración con Supervisión y Control, este problema ahora es cosa del pasado. El equipo conjunto visitará varios supermercados y minimercados para registrar y comparar precios.
Esto significa que los consumidores podrán contar con una comparación de precios más amplia y confiable, lo que les ayudará a tomar decisiones más informadas al realizar sus compras.
Además del registro regular de precios, FTPKB introduce un enfoque innovador: un piloto con una herramienta digital de comparación de precios.
