WINNARES PSV-WINACTIE BEKEND: MICHEILA TRINIDAD REIST NAAR EINDHOVEN

Kralendijk,- De winnares van de “Bonaire naar PSV”-winactie is bekend. De Bonairiaanse Micheila Trinidad reist binnenkort samen met haar dochter Allisha Trinidad naar Nederland voor een unieke ervaring rondom voetbalclub PSV en de stad Eindhoven.

Tijdens deze volledig verzorgde reis maken Micheila en haar dochter kennis met de club, bezoeken zij het PSV stadion en ervaren zij van dichtbij de sfeer en cultuur van Eindhoven en de Brainportregio. De prijs omvat onder meer vliegtickets voor twee personen, accommodatie en exclusieve PSV-activiteiten. De winactie werd georganiseerd in samenwerking met PSV, het Openbaar Lichaam Bonaire en Tourism Corporation Bonaire.

De samenwerking tussen Bonaire en PSV werd oorspronkelijk gestart in 2022 met als doel het versterken van de maatschappelijke, sportieve en economische banden tussen Bonaire en de Brainportregio Eindhoven. Sinds de start van de samenwerking ligt de focus op sportontwikkeling, talentontwikkeling, kennisuitwisseling en economische verbindingen en ontwikkelingen tussen beide regio’s. PSV organiseert onder meer Soccer School-activiteiten op Bonaire, ondersteunt de opleiding van lokale trainers en deelt kennis op het gebied van innovatie en ondernemerschap binnen de samenwerking met Brainport.

Binnen de samenwerking is ook speciale aandacht voor de ontwikkeling van vrouwenvoetbal op Bonaire. Hiermee wordt niet alleen ingezet op sportieve ontwikkeling, maar ook op empowerment, gezondheid en maatschappelijke participatie.

“Volgens gedeputeerde Timoteo Silberie wil het OLB inclusiviteit promoten, zodat iedereen gelijke kansen krijgt binnen de voetbalwereld. Deze kans is niet alleen bedoeld voor jongens; ook meisjes moeten de mogelijkheid krijgen om zich te ontwikkelen in de sport. In dit geval gaat het toevalig om een winnares die al actief is in de voetbalwereld. Deze ervaring zal haar een extra stimulans geven om zich verder te blijven ontwikkelen op dit gebied,” aldus gedeputeerde Silberie.

Met deze winactie willen de samenwerkingspartners inwoners van Bonaire op een bijzondere manier verder betrekken bij de langdurige relatie tussen Bonaire en PSV. De reis van Misheila Trinidad onderstreept de gezamenlijke ambitie om sport, educatie, toerisme en culturele verbindingen verder te versterken.

De winactie werd niet alleen georganiseerd op Bonaire, maar stond ook open voor deelnemers uit Nederland. Hiermee werd niet alleen lokaal enthousiasme gecreëerd, maar ook internationale aandacht gegenereerd voor Bonaire als aantrekkelijke toeristische bestemming. Vanuit Nederland is eveneens een winnaar geselecteerd, die binnenkort naar Bonaire zal afreizen om kennis te maken met alles wat het eiland te bieden heeft, waaronder de natuur, cultuur, gastvrijheid en activiteiten. Met initiatieven zoals deze wil Bonaire zich blijven promoten als een unieke vakantiebestemming binnen het Caribisch gebied.

During this all-inclusive trip, Micheila and her daughter will get to know the club, visit the PSV stadium, and experience the atmosphere and culture of Eindhoven and the Brainport region up close.
