Kralendijk,- Op woensdag 25 februari 2026 heeft Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) officieel een samenwerkingsovereenkomst getekend met de evenementenorganisatoren Lionedy F. Molina en Melrick F.M. Sint Jago voor de organisatie van Kings of Krioyo 2026, dat plaatsvindt op 26 april 2026.
Kings of Krioyo is een uniek cultureel evenement dat meer dan 10 lokale legendes en artiesten samenbrengt op één podium, waarbij het rijke muzikale erfgoed van Bonaire wordt gevierd met iconische hits en krachtige live-optredens. Het evenement maakt deel uit van de bredere maand van Dia di Rincon vieringen en voegt een dynamisch muzikaal hoogtepunt toe aan een maand die gewijd is aan van het eren van de cultuur, tradities en samenleving van Bonaire.
De voorgaande edities van Kings of Krioyo zijn succesvol georganiseerd en kregen veel steun van de samenleving, waardoor het evenement zich heeft gepositioneerd als een van de meest vooraanstaande culturele producties van Bonaire. De editie van 2026 heeft als doel om opnieuw de kracht, het talent en de diversiteit van de Bonaireaanse muziekscene te laten zien en tegelijkertijd een onvergetelijke ervaring te creëren voor zowel de lokale bevolking als bezoekers.
