RECLASSERING CN START CAMPAGNE OVER JEUGDSTRAFRECHT “FOUTEN MAKEN IS EASY. STERKER TERUGKOMEN IS POWER”
Kralendijk,- De eerste week van augustus start Stichting Reclassering Caribisch Nederland een campagne om jongeren en ouders beter te informeren over het jeugdstrafrecht, in het bijzonder over de jeugdreclassering.
Via sociale media, radio en voorlichting op scholen laat de campagne zien wat er gebeurt als een jongere in aanraking komt met justitie en hoe jeugdreclassering daarbij ondersteunt.
De boodschap is duidelijk: fouten maken kan gebeuren, maar hoe je ermee omgaat maakt het verschil.
De campagne bestaat uit berichten op sociale media, twee uitzendingen van het radioprogramma Keda Informa (28 augustus en 4 september) en gastlessen op scholen. In de uitzendingen komt aan bod wat de jeugdreclassering inhoudt en wat jongeren en hun ouders kunnen verwachten als toezicht en begeleiding nodig zijn.
“Ik hoop dat de boodschap echt binnenkomt bij jongeren en hun ouders. Daar doen we het tenslotte voor,” aldus Eric Sinke, directeur van Reclassering CN.
De campagne richt zich op jongeren die toezicht en begeleiding krijgen, jongeren die risico lopen én ouders die hun kind willen ondersteunen. Op de website van Stichting Reclassering CN staan praktische hulpmiddelen om doelen te stellen, afspraken na te komen en om te gaan met moeilijke situaties.

Kralendijk,- In the first week of August, the Stichting Reclassering Caribisch Nederland is launching a campaign to better inform young people and their parents about juvenile criminal law, particularly juvenile probation services.
Through social media, radio, and educational sessions in schools, the campaign explains what happens when a young person comes into contact with the justice system and how juvenile probation can provide support.
The message is clear: making mistakes can happen, but how you deal with them makes all the difference.
The campaign includes social media posts, two episodes of the radio program Keda Informa (on August 28 and September 4), and guest lessons in schools. The radio segments will explain what juvenile probation involves and what young people and their parents can expect when supervision and guidance are needed.
“I hope the message truly hits home with young people and their parents. That’s what we’re doing it for,” says Eric Sinke, Stichting Reclassering Caribisch Nederland.
