BONAIRE VERTEGENWOORDIGD OP YOUNG CREATORS FESTIVAL IN NEDERLAND

Kralendijk,- Voor het eerst in zeven jaar zal Bonaire weer vertegenwoordigd zijn op het Young Creators Festival in Nederland.

ACE Foundation heeft vijf getalenteerde jongeren geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan dit toonaangevende festival voor jonge makers in de creatieve sector.

De jongeren vertrekken op 24 juni en zullen tot 29 juni deelnemen aan workshops, bezoeken brengen aan kunstacademies én optreden op het podium van De Melkweg in Amsterdam.

De vijf jongeren zijn:

Deze jongeren zijn geselecteerd op basis van hun toewijding en loyaliteit aan het talentontwikkelingsprogramma van ACE Foundation, dat zich richt op jongeren tussen de 12 en 18 jaar. Gedurende het afgelopen jaar hebben zij intensieve workshops gevolgd en ervaring opgedaan tijdens optredens op zowel Bonaire als Aruba.

Op 28 juni staan zij op het podium van de Melkweg, een gerenommeerd cultureel centrum in het hart van Amsterdam dat bekend staat als springplank voor jong creatief talent in muziek, theater en beeldende kunst. De jongeren zullen een eigen show van 15 minuten presenteren, waarin zang, dans en DJ-kunsten worden gecombineerd tot een dynamisch optreden.

Naast hun optreden nemen de jongeren deel aan diverse creatieve workshops en bezoeken ze meerdere kunstopleidingen in Nederland.

Zo krijgen zij de kans om te ervaren hoe hun passie kan uitgroeien tot een professionele carrière in de creatieve industrie.

Deze bijzondere reis wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt dankzij de steun van het Oranjefonds/Samenwerkende Fondsen, het Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied en in samenwerking met Stichting Kunstbende Nederland, die verheugd is om Bonaire opnieuw welkom te heten.

Het bezoek biedt tevens gelegenheid om afspraken te maken voor toekomstige samenwerkingen.

 BONAIRE REPRESENTED AT YOUNG CREATORS FESTIVAL IN THE NETHERLANDS

Kralendijk,- For the first time in seven years, Bonaire will once again be represented at the Young Creators Festival in the Netherlands.

The ACE Foundation has selected and prepared five talented young individuals to represent Bonaire at this leading cultural event for creative youth. The group will travel on June 24 and return on June 29.

The selected youth are:

They were selected based on their commitment and loyalty to ACE Foundation’s talent development program, which supports youth aged 12 to 18.

Over the past year, they participated in various workshops and performed both in Bonaire and Aruba. Now they are ready to take the stage internationally at De Melkweg in Amsterdam.

De Melkweg is a renowned cultural venue in the heart of Amsterdam, known for launching emerging talent in music, theater, and visual arts. On June 28, the Bonaire group will perform a 15-minute show blending dance, vocals, and DJ skills into one energetic performance.

In addition to their performance, the participants will attend various creative workshops and visit art academies to explore how a hobby can evolve into a professional career.

This cultural trip is made possible thanks to the support of the Oranjefonds/Samenwerkende Fondsen, Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied, and Stichting Kunstbende Nederland, who are excited to welcome Bonaire back into the program and explore future collaborations.
