Kralendijk,- In de maand juni heeft Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) acht bezoekers gehuldigd als ambassadeur van Bonaire. Dit gebeurde in de categorieën brons, goud en platina.

Paul en Deborah Richer bezoeken Bonaire al 10 opeenvolgende jaren. Zij maken deel uit van een duikgroep die Bonaire jaarlijks bezoekt. De huldigingsceremonie vond plaats bij Habitat Bonaire, waar Claire Thielman-Sealy de bronzen speldjes aan onze ambassadeurs heeft uitgereikt.

Uschi en Frank Frosin uit Duitsland werden geëerd omdat zij ons eiland al 12 jaar bezoeken. Ook zij ontvingen voor deze gelegenheid hun bronzen speldje.

Charles en Barbara Gempler uit de Verenigde Staten bezoeken Bonaire al 20 jaar. Daarom ontvingen zij een gouden speldje, dit past bij de erkenning voor het aantal jaren dat zij Bonaire bezoeken.

Het echtpaar Gromotka-Pourier uit Rincon verraste hun Nederlandse vrienden Jack en Riet Janssen. Dit echtpaar had Jack en Riet Janssen voorgedragen voor de erkenning. Het Nederlandse stel bezoekt Bonaire al 31 jaar, vooral tijdens de feestdagen van San Juan en San Pedro. Zij zijn dol op de cultuur van Bonaire en de tradities in de wijk Rincon om de Bonaireaanse cultuur te vieren en levend te houden. Namens TCB heeft Helen Mercera een prachtige klok met historische afbeeldingen van Bonaire overhandigd.

TCB feliciteert al onze bezoekers die deze erkenning hebben gekregen en bedankt hen dat zij Bonaire hebben gekozen als hun bestemming om onvergetelijke dagen door te brengen.

EIGHT VISITORS HONORED AS BONAIRE AMBASSADORS IN JUNE

Kralendijk,- During the month of June, Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) honored eight visitors as Bonaire Ambassadors. These honors were awarded in the bronze, gold, and platinum categories.

Paul and Deborah Richer have been visiting Bonaire for 10 consecutive years. They are part of a diving group that visits the island annually. The award ceremony took place at Habitat Bonaire, where Claire Thielman-Sealy presented the bronze pins to our ambassadors.

Uschi and Frank Frosin from Germany were honored for visiting our island for 12 years; they, too, received a bronze pin for the occasion.

Charles and Barbara Gempler from the United States have been visiting Bonaire for 20 years. Consequently, they received a gold pin, reflecting the duration of their visits to the island.

The Gromotka-Pourier couple from Rincon surprised their Dutch friends, Jack and Riet Janssen, by nominating them for this recognition. The Dutch couple has been visiting Bonaire for 31 years, particularly during the San Juan and San Pedro festivities. They love Bonairean culture and the traditions in Rincon that celebrate and preserve this culture. On behalf of TCB, Helen Mercera presented them with a beautiful clock featuring historical images of Bonaire.
