Kralendijk,- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) had de eer om leden van de Commissie Koninkrijksrelaties van de Tweede Kamer te verwelkomen tijdens hun officiële bezoek aan het eiland op donderdag 8 mei 2025.
De bezoekende delegatie bestond uit: Olger van Dijk (commissievoorzitter NSC), Raoul White (GroenLinks-PvdA), Aukje de Vries (VVD), Faith Bruyning (NSC), Mpanzu Bamenga (D66), Don Ceder (ChristenUnie) en Eva Meijers (commissiegriffier).
TCB-directeur Elesiër Angel en het TCB-team hebben de delegatie verwelkomd met een presentatie over het toerisme op Bonaire, de veranderende rol van het bedrijf op het gebied van bestemmingsmarketing en de strategische visie.
De sessie bood de gelegenheid voor een zinvolle dialoog, waarbij de afgevaardigden een open gesprek voerden over zowel de mogelijkheden als de uitdagingen die gepaard gaan met de ontwikkeling van het toerisme op Bonaire.
“Het was een voorrecht om onze visie op het toerisme op Bonaire aan deze belangrijke delegatie te presenteren”, aldus Angel.
“Deze uitwisselingen zijn belangrijk om ervoor te zorgen dat het verhaal, de behoeften en de kansen van Bonaire duidelijk worden vertegenwoordigd in Den Haag.
We kijken ernaar uit om de samenwerking te versterken ten behoeve van onze mensen, onze natuur en onze gezamenlijke toekomst.”

Kralendijk,- Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) had the honor of welcoming members of the Commissie Koninkrijksrelaties van de Tweede Kamer (Committee on Kingdom Relations of the Dutch House of Representatives) during their official visit to the island on Thursday, May 8th, 2025.
The visiting delegation included: Olger van Dijk (Committee Chair, NSC), Raoul White (GroenLinks-PvdA), Aukje de Vries (VVD), Faith Bruyning (NSC), Mpanzu Bamenga (D66), Don Ceder (ChristenUnie), and Eva Meijers (Committee Clerk).
TCB CEO Elesiër Angel and the TCB team welcomed the delegation with a presentation that highlighted Bonaire’s tourism, the corporation’s evolving role in destination marketing, and the strategic vision.
The session offered an opportunity for meaningful dialogue, with delegates engaging in open conversation about both the potential and the challenges that come with tourism development on Bonaire.
“It was a privilege to present our vision for Bonaire’s tourism to this important delegation,” said Angel. “These exchanges are important to ensure that Bonaire’s story, needs, and opportunities are clearly represented in The Hague.
