12 JONGE ASPIRANT-ZANGERS HEBBEN ZICH INGESCHREVEN VOOR HET CAREER-PROJECT VAN ACE FOUNDATION

Kralendijk – ACE Foundation is tevreden met de inschrijvingen voor het Career-project, gefinancierd door Fonds Podiumkunsten, waarbij in totaal 12 jongeren zich hebben aangemeld met interesse om zanger te worden.

Nadat ACE Foundation vorige week aankondigde op zoek te zijn naar getalenteerde jongeren met zangpassie die van hun talent hun beroep willen maken, was de respons onmiddellijk.

“We zijn blij met de positieve reactie, en het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. We waren op zoek naar vijf zangers, en nu hebben we er twaalf.”

Afgelopen zaterdag en maandag vonden de eerste audities plaats bij Creative World. Dit was een kans voor alle ingeschrevenen om hun talent te laten zien. Het ging niet om een competitie, maar eerder om een moment om te beoordelen wat elke deelnemer in huis heeft.

Elk van de jonge deelnemers, tussen de 18 en 33 jaar, toonde potentieel om een succesvolle zanger te worden. Sommigen waren erg nerveus omdat het de eerste keer was dat ze voor een groep mensen op het podium stonden, terwijl anderen al enige ervaring hadden en klaar waren om verder te groeien in de muziekwereld.

Na de audities volgt nu een traject van opleiding en voorbereiding. De aspirant-zangers krijgen begeleiding op verschillende gebieden, zoals zangtechniek, compositie, opname, artistieke styling, mentale voorbereiding, podiumprésence, management en marketing. Het doel is om hen alle nodige tools te geven om hun muzikale carrière vorm te geven en succesvol te worden.

Afgelopen maandag zijn ze begonnen met hun eerste trainingen onder leiding van de legendarische artiest Xemio Jacobs, die hen zal begeleiden in zangtechnieken en het componeren van hun eigen nummers. Het is de bedoeling dat zij binnen een maand hun liedjes klaar hebben en dat in maart hun videoclip wordt opgenomen onder regie van Xechel Jacobs, beter bekend als “Bauco”.

Daarnaast zullen meerdere professionals betrokken zijn om de jongeren te begeleiden. ACE-directeur Marlies Vels gaf aan dat de stichting zich zal inspannen om zoveel mogelijk deelnemers door het traject te helpen, ook al is er financiering voor slechts vijf jongeren.

“We willen iedereen helpen, maar we hebben budget voor vijf. We gaan op zoek naar sponsors zodat we alle deelnemers de kans kunnen geven om hun volledige potentieel te benutten.”

Binnenkort zal bekend worden gemaakt wie de geselecteerde talenten van Bonaire zijn.

A TOTAL OF 12 ASPIRING YOUNG SINGERS HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE CAREER PROJECT OF ACE FOUNDATION

Kralendijk – ACE Foundation is pleased with the registrations for the Career project, funded by Fonds Podiumkunsten, with a total of 12 young people signing up with an interest in becoming singers.

After ACE Foundation announced last week that they were looking for talented young people passionate about singing and wanting to turn their talent into a profession, the response was immediate.

“We are happy with the positive reaction, and it has exceeded our expectations. We were looking for five singers, and now we have twelve.”

Last Saturday and Monday, the first auditions took place at Creative World. This was an opportunity for all registered participants to showcase their talent. It was not a competition but rather a moment to assess what each singer had to offer.

Every young participant, aged between 18 and 33, showed potential to become a successful singer. Some were very nervous as it was their first time performing in front of a group of people on stage, while others already had some experience and were ready to advance in the music industry.

Following the auditions, a training and preparation process will begin.

The aspiring singers will receive coaching in various aspects such as vocal training, composition, recording, artistic styling, mental preparation, stage presence, management, marketing, and more. The goal is to equip them with all the necessary tools to build their music careers and achieve success.

Last Monday, they began their first training sessions under the guidance of the legendary artist Xemio Jacobs, who will coach them in vocal techniques and help them compose their own songs. The goal is for them to have their songs ready within a month, and in March, their music video will be recorded under the direction of Xechel Jacobs, better known as “Bauco.”

Several other professionals will also be involved in mentoring the young singers. ACE Director Marlies Vels stated that the foundation will do everything possible to support as many participants as they can, even though funding is only available for five. “We want to help everyone, but we have the budget for five. We will approach sponsors so we can ensure that all participants have the opportunity to reach their full potential.”

Soon, the selected young singing talents of Bonaire will be announced.
