INSPECTION OF THE UNDERGROUND FIRES WITH THERMAL CAMERA

Kralendijk,- Selibon N.V. wants to inform that during 21 and 22 of September 2024, an inspection took place with a thermal camera where we could detect the heat at some areas at Afvalcentrum Lagun, especially at the areas where underground fires have been reported.

During this process, the competent entities such as The Fire Department and The Directorate of Supervision and Maintenance, were also present to observe this inspection. The result of this inspection is of great importance to enforce our actual planning to take the necessary measures of security of all involved and for the efficiency to contain, control and get possible solutions to eliminate the underground fires.
