Kralendijk – Het Korps Politie Caribisch Nederland (KPCN) organiseert op zaterdag 28 maart van 08:00 tot 10:00 uur een Bootcamp bij het Stadion di Playa. Met deze activiteit komt KPCN gericht in contact met potentiële aspiranten, geeft het hen een realistisch beeld van het politiewerk en stimuleert het hen om te solliciteren.

Tijdens de Bootcamp ervaren deelnemers zelf wat het politievak inhoudt. Zij voeren fysieke oefeningen uit, werken samen in teamverband en treden op in praktijksituaties, zoals incidenten en aanhoudingen. Zo krijgen zij direct inzicht in zowel de fysieke eisen als de mentale weerbaarheid en samenwerking die het werk vraagt.

De KPCN Bootcamp is nadrukkelijk geen selectiemoment, maar biedt een laagdrempelige kennismaking met het korps. Met deze bootcamp verlaagt KPCN drempels en krijgen geïnteresseerden de kans om zelf te ontdekken of een carrière bij de politie bij hen past.

Deelname staat open voor iedereen van 17 jaar en ouder die zich fit voelt en interesse heeft in het politievak. Na afloop gaan deelnemers in gesprek met politiemedewerkers en kunnen zij ter plekke solliciteren, met ondersteuning vanuit het korps.

Kralendijk,- The Caribbean Netherlands Police Force (KPCN) is organizing a Bootcamp from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cruyff Court.

With this activity, KPCN aims to connect directly with potential candidates, provide them with a realistic view of police work, and encourage them to apply.

During the Bootcamp, participants will experience what police work involves. They will perform physical exercises, work together in teams, and act in practical scenarios such as incidents and arrests. This gives them direct insight into the physical demands, mental resilience, and teamwork required for the job.

The KPCN Bootcamp is explicitly not a selection moment but offers an accessible introduction to the police force. With this bootcamp, KPCN lowers barriers and gives interested individuals the opportunity to discover whether a career in policing suits them.

Participation is open to anyone aged 17 and older who feels fit and is interested in police work. After the Bootcamp, participants will speak with police officers and can apply on the spot, with support from the organization.
