CBCS-PRESIDENT RICHARD DOORNBOSCH TREEDT PER 1 SEPTEMBER 2026 AF

Willemstad/Philipsburg – De Raad van Commissarissen (RvC) van de Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS) maakt bekend dat Richard Doornbosch heeft besloten per 1 september 2026 af te treden als president van de CBCS om een nieuwe functie te aanvaarden buiten de organisatie en buiten Curaçao en Sint Maarten.

De procedure voor een passende invulling van de functie is per direct gestart. Tegelijkertijd bevindt de procedure voor de invulling van de functie van Financieel-Economisch Directeur zich in een vergevorderd stadium; deze zal worden afgestemd met de eerstgenoemde procedure.

Over beide benoemingen volgt nadere communicatie zodra dit opportuun is. De RvC spreekt haar waardering uit voor de inzet en betekenisvolle veranderingen die de heer Doornbosch heeft gebracht.

Doornbosch zal zijn werkzaamheden tot aan zijn uitdiensttreding onverminderd en met volle inzet blijven uitvoeren, aldus de RvC.

Willemstad/Philipsburg – The Board of Supervisory Directors of the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS) announces that Richard Doornbosch has decided to step down as President of the CBCS effective 1 September 2026, to assume a new position outside the organization and outside Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

The procedure to identify a suitable successor has been initiated immediately. At the same time, the recruitment process for the position of Financial and Economic Director is at an advanced stage and will be aligned with the first-mentioned procedure.

Further communication regarding both appointments will follow at an appropriate time. The Supervisory Board expresses its appreciation for the commitment and valuable changes that Mr. Doornbosch has brought to the organization.

The Supervisory Board notes that Doornbosch will continue to perform his duties with full dedication until his departure.
