 E estudio a kontené 26 siman di Treinen Militar intensivo, den kua  resiliensia físiko i mental tabata sentral.

NIEUWE MILITAIREN BEËDIGD OP CURAÇAO

Willemstad,- Op woensdag 28 mei zijn negen Curaçaose militairen officieel beëdigd na het succesvol afronden van de Elementaire Militaire Vorming (EMV).

De ceremonie vond plaats in het bijzijn van de waarnemend Gouverneur van Curaçao, Minister van Justitie Hato en de Commandant der Zeemacht in het Caribisch Gebied.

De negen militairen maakten deel uit van een groep van vijftien geslaagden van de EMV-opleiding, waarvan zes afkomstig zijn uit Aruba en
negen uit Curaçao. De Arubaanse militairen zullen op een later moment op Aruba worden beëdigd.

De opleiding bestond uit 26 weken intensieve militaire training, waarin fysieke en mentale weerbaarheid centraal stonden.

Na afronding van deze periode vond het officiële ‘binnenklappen’ plaats bij Fort Amsterdam. Aansluitend volgden de kandidaten een 10 weken
durende B&B-module (Bewaken & Beveiligen), ter voorbereiding op hun functie binnen Defensie in het Caribisch gebied.

Na de beëdiging zijn de militairen geplaatst bij de Curmil (Curaçaose Militairen) en de Arumil (Arubaanse Militairen), waar zij zich inzetten
voor vrede en veiligheid in het Caribisch deel van het Koninkrijk.

NEW SOLDIERS SWORN IN ON CURAÇAO

 Willemstad,- On Wednesday, May 28, nine soldiers from Curaçao were officially sworn in after successfully finalizing the Elementary Military Training (EMF) (Elementaire Militaire Vorming (EMV).
The ceremony took place in the presence of the Acting Governor of Curaçao, the Minister of Justice Hato and the Commander of the Navy in the Caribbean.

The nine soldiers were part of a group of fifteen candidates who graduated from the EMF Training.  Of this group six were originating from Aruba and nine from Curaçao. The Aruban soldiers will be sworn in at a later date on the island of Aruba.

The training consisted of 26 weeks of intensive military training, in which physical and mental resilience were central.

After completing this period, the official ‘closing in with applause’ took place at Fort Amsterdam. The candidates then followed a 10-week B&B module (Guarding & Securing), in preparation for their position within Defence in the Caribbean.

After being sworn in, the soldiers were placed with the Curmil (Curaçao Military) and the Arumil (Aruban Military), where they are committed to peace and security in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
